Privacy Policy

VeilSwap is a registration-free instant cryptocurrency exchange. We collect and retain the minimum data required to operate the service — nothing more.
1. What we store
For each order: the trading pair, amounts, the generated deposit address, your payout address (and memo/tag if applicable), the order status, and a timestamp. This is required to process your swap, display its progress, and handle refunds. Nothing else.
2. What we do not collect
No name, no email, no phone number, no ID documents, no IP-linked profiles, no wallet clustering, and no analytics that identify you: our session-replay tool is excluded from order pages and masked over the trading UI and support chat. There is no account to create and therefore no identity to store.
3. Logs
We keep no transaction logs beyond the order record above. Server-level technical logs (needed to detect abuse and keep the service up) are short-lived and are not linked to orders.
4. Third-party processing
Swaps are executed by integrated liquidity providers. To complete your exchange, your payout address and the transaction data necessary for execution are shared with the provider processing your order. Providers operate under their own privacy policies and are contractually bound to process data solely for order execution.
5. Compliance reviews
Orders may be subject to automated compliance screening by our providers. Screening decisions are made by the providers; we do not build profiles or retain screening data beyond what the order record contains.
6. What you can do
Use addresses you control. Don't reuse deposit addresses. If you have questions about a specific order, contact us with the order ID — it is the only identifier we can look up.
8. Cookies and analytics
We use the minimum set of cookies required to operate the site: a language preference cookie and a strictly necessary session cookie where applicable. We use two analytics tools: an aggregate visitor counter, and Microsoft Clarity for heatmaps and session replays, which helps us see where the interface is confusing. Clarity is never loaded on order pages or in the admin area, is never loaded over our Tor onion mirror, and the support chat and trading components are explicitly masked, so no addresses, amounts or messages are recorded. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.
9. Data retention
Order records are kept for the period required to provide the service, resolve disputes, and satisfy accounting obligations. Because orders are not tied to an identity, retaining an order does not retain a person. Backup copies age out on a rolling schedule.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
